CLASS:  MSC - Modified Show Car

PART A - OWNERSHIP:  On June 13, 2002 I received my GNX via a transport truck, mileage at time of delivery 6,035. I now have 31,910 miles and have enjoyed every mile. I attend about 4 car shows or cruises each month. I have gone to GSCA Nationals in Bowling Green , KY in 2003 and took 2nd place in the GNX class. I'm going this year(2005) and expect to take first place in the GNX class. My GNX is a daily driver, it came from CT and there have been five owners before me from: NY, CA, OH, CT, NJ. I keep the car as clean and new as can be. I also have the original window sticker & both broadcast sheets & many original papers from previous owners.

2005 GS Nationals: Bowling Green, KY Car Show Awards Results shown below:
Class DD:  GNX

    1st:  James Wilson - # 1302
    2nd:  Scott Pollard - # 4138
    3rd:  Tom Baker - # 8060

PART B -MOTOR:  As of 3/6/2005 mileage 31,910, engine has never been apart. I have Alcohol injection, cold air intakes on both sides for the engine. I have installed a remote oil filter, which puts the filter outside the engine compartment for cooler performance and approx. a Quart more oil to cool the engine. When I bought my GNX the original owner had installed a larger turbo (TBO 348) and a 3" downpipe, trans shift kit, high performance fuel pump, and external wastegate system, 9" converter, all installed by Ken Duttweiler .

PART C - TRANNY:  Rearend is original, transmission has an Art Carr shift kit installed by the original owner by Ken Duttweiler. The rear end is in perfect condition with GNX rear cover. June 25th mileage 24,000 I installed an Art Carr R4 transmission pan kit, finned aluminum and 1 qt. greater fluid capacity to keep trans cooler. The GNX comes with a trans cooler. Original drive shaft.

PART D - SUSPENSION: Brakes are stock original in rear (GNX does have aluminum drums). At approx.27,000 miles. On 5/26/2004 I installed a stainless steel brake system (2 piston) on front, they work very well. Suspension is original stock (springs, shocks, everything). Wheels are stock GNX wheels, tires are 16" 245 front,16" 255 rear Komo tires. I still have the original stock tires that came with the car, they only have 6,035 miles on them but are quite hard.

PART E - BODY & PAINT:  Body perfect 100% original stock. Paint: never been painted and is original stock, Perfect. Interior: has a 2 gauge windshield pillar kit (boost-Detonation) 15,000 miles. Other than that I had to put in a new headliner at 23,000 miles. The rest is original stock.

PART F - PERFORMANCE:  I am in class MSC and have raced my GNX at Bradinton, Florida in 2004. I ran 4 times at 105 mph in 13.5, at 104 mph in 13.4, 102 mph in 13.4 and 103 mph in 13.3. I have no time slips to show, but all four runs are on video and show the times, this is just for your information. I will be running at the GS Nationals in MAY 2005 and hope to dip into the 12's.

PART F - OTHER:  The sound system is a 6 speaker concert sound and has an equalizer and that is just fine for me. I installed a myster theft deterrent system. I have a hardened steel and ignition collar, a cable bolted to the floor for the steering wheel, and a factory alarm system, these are all for my comfort when the car is parked. Also, had a matching armrest made for the console which is very comfy.
