PART A - OWNERSHIP: I have own this
particular car for three years. I live in Lone Tree Colorado which is
just South of Denver. This particular GN was sold by, Topper
Pontiac-Buick-GMC, which is located in Saratoga Springs, NY. The first
owners name was, Corcoran. The punctuation of my name Cochrane sounds
the same. I bought the car from a fellow by the name of Sanford who
lives in Denver. I was looking for a completely stock 1987 Grand
National. Finding a stock GN is almost impossible. However, I found this
car in the paper of all places. The car is in excellent condition and
even came with the original tires. So, I am the third owner. I only
drive the car on nice days (no rain or snow) and enjoy taking it to car
shows. The current mileage: 24,880. When I purchased the car the
odometer showed 22,000.
PART B -MOTOR: The engine
compartment is completely stock. The only thing I did was repaint the
turbo shield with a high temperate aluminum paint. As mention above the
current mileage: 24,880.
PART C - TRANNY:
Original Factory Stock.
PART D - SUSPENSION:
The only change here is I replaced the original tires with Michelin
Pilots.
PART E - BODY & PAINT: The only
painting has been on the drivers door for paint checking and I repainted
the front facia because of some pitting. I also replaced the windshield
for pitting.
PART G - OTHER: The car was fitted
with a remote starting system. The rear speakers were replaced with a
better speaker and a six disc changer was installed in the trunk. The
vehicle is also equipped with a python alarm system. |
